Itinerary

  • Day 1: PICK UP FROM NJP/BAGDOGRA TO GANGTOK

    On your arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, our representative will be there to greet you and give you a warm welcome before driving you to Gangtok (5,480 ft). (77 mi) which is 124km. The trip will pass by the Teesta riverbank with lovely views of mountains and rivers. When you arrive, check into the hotel and then relax. Stay the night in Gangtok.


  • Day 2: TSOMGO LAKE/BABA MANDIR (NATHULA AT AN EXTRA COST)

    After Breakfast will have a full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake. The water in this lake has been accumulated from the melting snow on the mountains located nearby. The river Lungtze Chu originates from this lake, which meets Rangpo-chu. According to history, the color of the water of this lake was studied by Lamas so as to forecast the future. They believed, that if the water had a dark tinge, it indicated a year full of trouble and unrest in the state. Later visit Baba Mandir, which is a distinguished sightseeing place in Sikkim. This “Mandir” or shrine is dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, who was a soldier of the Indian Army.


  • Day 3: GANGTOK TO LACHEN

    After breakfast, we will move towards Lachen. Lachen is approx. 129 km away from Gangtok and can be reached via a six-hour road journey. It is located at an elevation of 2,750 meters. On the way, one can visit Chungthang- the confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu (river).
    On the way sightseeing includes-


    • Vimala falls waterfalls
    • Seven sister waterfalls
    • Bhima waterfalls
    • Bakthang waterfalls
    • Singhik viewpoint

    After reaching Lachen you will have to check in at Lachen’s Hotel. Overnight stay at Lachen.


  • Day 4: GURUDONGMAR LAKE/DROP TO LACHUNG

    We'll leave early in the morning for Gurudongmar Lake. Gurudongmar Lake, located at an elevation of 17,100 feet (5,210 metres), is one of the highest lakes in the world and can be reached in nearly three hours from Lachen. It is located in the district of North Sikkim in the Indian state of Sikkim, only 5 kilometres (3.1 miles) south of the Chinese border. Following our visit to this beautiful lake, we will proceed to the Lachung. Overnight stay at Lachung.


  • Day 5: YUMTHANG VALLEY (ZERO POINT AT AN EXTRA COST / DROP TO GANGTOK)

    We will depart early morning for Yumthang Valley, a grazing pasture surrounded by the Himalayan Mountains in the North Sikkim district in Sikkim. It is located 150 kilometers from the state capital Gangtok at an elevation of 3,564 meters (11,800). It is also known as the "Valley of Flowers." Lachung is a popular tourist destination, and the valley's beauty is enhanced by either snow or blooming Rhododendrons - On the way to Yumthang, one can stop at the well-known hot spring known for its curative properties - Yumthang is a large valley surrounded by mountains, where the forest ends and the cold desert begins. During the winter, there is snow everywhere, and the snow-covered mountains are breathtaking.


  • Day 6: PELLING TO GANGTOK VIA NAMCHI/RAVANGLA

    After breakfast, drive to Pelling, which is 115 kilometers from the state capital of Gangtok. On the way, we will visit Namchi/Ravangla, which includes the following attractions:


    • Chardham
    • Samdruption
    • The Buddha Park

    After sightseeing, we will move towards Pelling. Pelling is a town in West Sikkim's district. Pelling is located at an elevation of 2,150 meters (7,200 feet). The Himalayas and Kanchenjunga can be seen up close from Pelling. The area around Pelling is still undeveloped and covered in alpine vegetation, with numerous waterfalls lining the hillside. Pelling is occasionally blanketed in snow during the winter months. Overnight stay at Pelling.


  • Day 7: PELLING SIGHTSEEING

    After breakfast, we will go on a sightseeing tour of Pelling and the surrounding area, which will include:


    • Pemayangtse Monastery
    • Rabdentse Ruins
    • Skywalk
    • Helipad Ground
    • Orange Garden
    • Darap Village
    • Rimbi Waterfalls
    • Kanchenjunga Waterfalls
    • Darap Village

    After sightseeing, we will move towards Pelling. Pelling is a town in West Sikkim's district. Pelling is located at an elevation of 2,150 meters (7,200 feet).   • Day 8: DROP AT NJP RAILWAY STATION/ BAGDOGRA AIRPORT

    After having breakfast we will have you check out from the hotel. Our representative will escort you to the Bagdogra/NJP airport/station.
